Hi there, my name is Hannah, a therapist at Harlowe Counseling. As a therapist, one the things I love most about my role is getting to create a space where someone can feel comfortable being themselves; open and honest about what challenges they are facing in life. I am an empathizer, and love finding out what strengths are hidden behind the surface of my clients.
I offer a compassionate, collaborative approach, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a humanistic perspective. By examining and challenging negative thought patterns, we can uncover healthier ways of thinking that support your goals. I also will utilize somatic exercises to help you connect with your body and build your awareness of how you can ground yourself in any situation.
Our work together is focused on understanding how your past and inner dialogue influence your present life, helping you gain clarity and perspective on the things that matter most.
A typical session with me will last around an hour, either in person or telehealth. Each session I will be getting to know you, but especially in the beginning, I like to get an overview of your history and an idea or what you would like to accomplish or work through in our time.
Each session with me will be both relational, authentic and forward focused. I will be focused on you, and what you bring into the room that day.
I create a safe space where clients can be true to themselves, fostering honest, open communication for real healing.
I approach each client with deep empathy, providing a non-judgmental and supportive environment to help them feel seen and understood.
I focus on identifying and empowering clients’ inherent strengths to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
