Hello, my name is Ashley! As an associate therapist at Harlowe Counseling, I strive to help my clients reach their goals and feel heard. I meet my clients where they're at, walk alongside them, and cheer them on throughout the therapeutic process. I enjoy helping women calm their anxiety and grow the strengths they possess within themselves.
My approach to therapy is rooted in both cogntive theories and behavioral theories. I utilize empathy and compassion to help my clients navigate stress. We might use guided imagery, breathing, and meditation techniques to calm anxiety and gain a clear perspective on challenges that arise.
I draw from a strengths-based perspective, one that is rooted in the belief that each and every person has their own unique strengths that can be utilized to address challenges. Our work will focus on discovering your strengths while steering through stress and anxiety.
Our sessions will be focused on identifying your unique strengths and tailoring them to your personal needs. We'll start by creating goals and making clear plans on how to tackle your needs—all in a way that aligns with your values. We'll collaborate to build your "therapy toolkit" to help you in your day-to-day life, and navigate any challenges that come along the way.
