Hi there, I'm Christina. As a therapist at Harlowe Counseling, you could call me a nurturer to the nurturers, confidence builder, relationship referee, trauma navigator, and true-self finder. I love to be a support for women as they build their self-esteem, manage stress, and cope with past trauma.
My therapy style is client-centered. I want you to feel in control of what issues we work on and have choices for which approach to take.
I can offer DBT skills to manage stress and anxiety, EMDR and IFS for those long-standing wounds and troubling thought patterns, and EFT to help couples and families break out of dysfunctional patterns.
Our sessions will be on telehealth, where you can log in from the comfort of your home for about an hour. For our first session, we’ll start by diving into your story, and from there, we’ll set goals together—goals that feel right for where you are. In some sessions, you may want to process those tough memories or thoughts and feelings we have a hard time saying out loud.
Others might be more practical, focusing on what you need to get through the week. It’s not always easy, but you’ll always find a warm and supportive space where you can be honest without judgment.
I believe that building trust in therapy allows you to feel safe enough to be seen as you are, and to explore deeper issues.
My hope is that you feel personal growth towards your goals, and I will continue to grow as well, staying up to date on all the tools you need to get there.
I want to honor your story, and respect your concerns and goals
